Concepting Threads

Threads app - San Francisco, CA

Threads follows one clear purpose. To help fashion bloggers market their fashion style easily within a simple interface. They can create collections for any occasion, have a faster workflow and earn revenue through shoppable items.

Threads is new in the market of fashion oriented apps. The user experience is fairly simple and easy to learn. The accuracy of photography and shoppable items within each collection is a hit or miss. A hashmark system has yet to be implemented. It would be interesting to search fashion by location and discover what else is out there besides the trendy stuff or the pre-built collections. Video has yet to be implemented and it should considered for upcoming versions. Selling a dress with video makes more sense than through a static photograph. See mockups below for a potential tag system.
